MOORING PILES | dolphins
Mooring piles/dolphins are often used to extend a berth or as a mooring point where vessels can be secured with a rope or hawser.
In the past, bollards/jetties were often made of wood, but as ships have become larger and heavier, this is no longer sufficient. Increasingly, large combi-piles with varying wall thicknesses, with or without bollards and/or platforms, are chosen for this application. Standard sizes are available from stock in diameters ranging from 168 to 1420 millimeters. Custom production, entirely tailored to your needs, is also possible.
