Flared tubes | piling piles
Tromping” refers to the process of widening one end of a pipe, allowing another pipe with the same diameter to be inserted into the previous pipe.
Afterwards, they can be welded together on-site. Tromped pipes are a convenient solution in spaces with limited headroom for piling. Think of urban areas, factory premises, under high-voltage lines, or other hard-to-reach places.
Our tromped pipes are available in various wall thicknesses and with outer diameters ranging from 168 to 559 millimeters. We perform the tromping process in our own factory. By tromping only a few centimeters, you have limited length loss. Prefer a longer tromp? That’s also possible, keeping the pipes in even more alignment.
Upon request, you can have the tromped pipes delivered with welded footplates or separate footplates. We can also provide custom reinforcement cages inside the tromped pipes.
Meever Pipes delivers the products to the desired location using trucks, if necessary with a self-unloading crane.
